World Relief Modesto’s Youth Mentoring volunteer program is available through our office.  Our volunteers serve at one of our local high schools which has a program that represents 20 different countries and has over 150 students from around the world. Many refugees resettled by World Relief Modesto attend this program, along with other immigrants from the community. We are in need of people who will dedicate a minimum of 1 hour per week to mentor students in the classroom and small group settings. This is a great opportunity to get involved and make a huge difference in the community. Below are some ways you can get involved:
  • Life skills coach/Cultural companion
  • English tutor
  • Homework helper
  • Small group mentor
  • Be a friend!
***Prior teaching/tutoring experience required.
